Munich

The main square of Munich and Asamkirche. This church is hidden in rows of shops and apartments, but the interior is astounding!
I think the architects believed "more is more."
And all of the sculptures were a bit over the top.
A Munich window that caught my eye.
I walked through the hall famous for hosting Oktoberfest, but I decided to have my bratwurst on the patio (there are certain things that are uncomfortable for a solo traveller and communal tables in a beer hall is one of them!) Overall, I loved Germany, and can't wait to return for a proper visit!

Hi Kathy, I noticed the little dog resting under the bench in the beer hall. Those portly ladies are kinda cute. What a different life. Hobbies after retirement??

I just noticed the dog now! How cute. And wait till you see my video of dancing from Spain. All the dancers are between 60 - 90 years old, and they meet every Sunday to dance a slow circle dance in the square. I think it is a great idea, and it looked like so much fun.
