Greece

I made it! Greece is cooler than I expected, and I'm very glad I decided to bring my jacket. I checked the weather in Europe at the last minute in Taipei, and realized that the average would be between 12-22 degrees Celsius. Perfect weather in my opinion, but I expected Greece and Spain to be a lot hotter! Anyway, another 30 some hours of travel time, six or so time zones and very little sleep have worn me down. I'm thankful for a clean hostel and DVDs Julia burned for me that I can watch on my laptop. I have two days in Athens to submerge myself in history, and then it's a ferry to Santorini. Two concerns today, though. First of all, one of my eyes is pretty red and bloodshot. But I've self-diagnosed and attributed that to the really dry air on the plane. Secondly, one of my credit cards has stopped working. My trusty President's Choice. I emailed them today, and hopefully I can get it worked out. More to come!
